It’s just totally nuts how 90210 was producing 28-32 episode seasons after season 1 Especially when shows of that era did 22-26 a year.
A 32 episode season (looking at you season 5) has so much story that it feels like multiple seasons worth all crammed into it. Like where the characters start the season and where they end up, what a total trip.
It’s absolutely no wonder why the cast of both shows ended up only doing tv movies instead of feature films. They’d be shooting 10 months out of the year instead of the usual 8 months. Easier to film a 2 week tv movie than book a 2 month film during that.
