There is a spoiler in my question, idk how to do the white cover text to block.

Spoiler

Ben Whishaw, man. I don’t know if he’s a phenomenal actor or if I’m a peasant overreacting but he blew my mind throughout.

But in this final episode where he takes the kill for Helen of the Clarks son, I lost it, and I want to know why.

My best guess is a theme of the show was how important his relationship with Helen is and how she might be the only person that truly sees him, and he her. And he made that sacrifice for her.
