I’m sorry, I don’t know where else to post and who to ask about this. I work with rural coastal communities. Sadly, I contracted typhoid fever and am still recovering from it. I learned that the bacteria causing it can stay in your body for years, and should traces of your urine or feces be exposed to others, then they too can contract typhoid.
While spreading it can be prevented if you thoroughly wash your hands, I don’t think the same can be said about your privates? I’m too shy to ask the local doctor here (who is male) if that means cunningulus is off the table. That’s why i’m wondering if anyone here has experience with typhoids and sex so I know what to do.
Will consult a female doctor once I’m back in the city.
Thanks for the help.
