To start; I’m sure this has been brought up before.
But really. Give me Kill Bill levels of back story and character build out. Then bring them all together for the tourney.
Idea: Mortal Kombat TV series, early episodes are all character case studies. Later episodes/seasons go more in depth on the tournament.
