The opening scene of this show is perfection in terms of letting you know what you’re getting into. McNulty is chilling on the curb talking to the friend of Snotboogie while crime scene people del with his corpse. He’s trying to figure out why the guy got shot and the reason baffles McNulty. I’ve never really noticed how good it was until this time and I love the logic behind always letting Snotboogie play.
