I know Rachel Bloom was working on a The Nanny musical before Adam Schlesinger died and the Psych musical episode could work as a stage musical but I was wondering what other shows could have a standalone you-get-the-gist-without-having-to-watch-the-whole-thing story that’d work on stage
I know some shows have had parody musicals but it’s not the same and those rarely get staged
