Florida has retained possession of the College Football Belt with their 33–8 victory over Tulane. They continue their 6th reign as Belt champions, and this marks their second successful defense of the Belt in this reign. The Gators are now 27–24 in Belt Games, and the Green Wave are 4–17.

Florida’s next defense of the Belt will be their opening game of the 2025 season, a home game on August 30 against LIU. This will be the Sharks’ 1st Belt game!
