I know that this show is more about the rebuilding of civilization but i do have a few things that should be explained.
The keep going to the library for books and learning how to do things which is good. Stores have the items they need for build and fix things.

What are the odds of Ish and the others finding a surgeon in what little people are left in the world?
How is that damn Nissan truck still running?
Where are they getting this gas since there is no power and no generators running? Don’t say nuclear power either since, Ish would not have had to make the solar power to power their house.
That much be the MOST fuel efficient Nissan ever made since it never needs gas. Same with the motor home.
You are telling me that in 14 years that they are letting their daughter go on a trip with a boy alone?? Didnt anyone read the birds and the bees book in the library? What do you think is going to happen?
If they can get gas for the vehicles, why cant they have electricity 24/7?
