Original Title: Is there an episode of “Home Improvement” where they display static on the screen to make the viewer believe the TV isn’t working and then Tim Taylor appears and tells you to stop hitting your television?
A friend of mine has a childhood memory of this but it lacks details. I want to know if that really happened on the show and which episode it occurs in. Thank you all for your expertise.
Edit: It’s possible he has Tìm Taylor confused with another character from the same show. It’s also possible he’s confused about which show this is, and the memory is from a different show altogether. Either way, we’d like to track down a video of that scene.
