So I had my IUD replaced today, and, as expected, it SUCKED. It was painful coming out and even more painful going back in. I almost passed out, was shaking, broke out in a full body sweat, and had to lay for about 10 minutes catching my breath before I could sit up. The sweet nurse fanned me with a magazine! After about 15/20 minutes I put my pants back on and drove myself home.

Now, in contrast! My friend’s husband had a vasectomy a few years ago. He didn’t even want to know what they were doing for this minimally invasive procedure, so they put him under. He was PUT UNDER!!! For a teeny, tiny procedure, which normally includes local anesthesia, that doesn’t involve cutting or sutures! Our bodies are PRIED open and objects are ripped out and shoved inside us and we’re told to take aleve as directed.

Make it make sense!
