My kids and I walk our dog often in the mornings, and like most young kids they are obsessed with trash days and the garbage truck.
On a recent walk the garbage men flagged us down and said they looked forward to seeing us on their route, and that they look out for us in the neighborhood to make sure we’re safe.
Makes me feel safer knowing that they’re out there, be kind to the garbage men they know everything that goes in in the hood.
