Is it reverse chauvinist or what? Please lemme know

My boyfriend who is a kind guy who gets tired from work often says things like "women can decide to stay at home and be a housewife and no one will judge them for it, or even when his female colleagues seem like they have it easy at work, or when junior female colleagues who are still learning makes mistakes or isn’t quick enough with work seem to trigger him a lot, even though other ‘male’ juniors are similar too, he doesn’t complain much with them. His teamleader is a female, previous one was a female, he has a really good and respectful relationship with his mom, I don’t understand where does it come from. I’m still studying at online uni, usually spend most of my day playing video games while he goes to work 2 days a week and rest are Work from home. Sometimes it feels like it’s directed at me because I have time and do not work yet. He’s a really sweet guy otherwise but is scared of commitment and frequent remarks like this make me wonder.
