Certainly these are good TV shows the sopranos my personal favorite but when was this list constructed and orthodoxized? I feel like there have since been comparable TV shows since the conclusion of these three series(well personally nothing’s comparable to the sopranos) and that these shows all have plenty of flaws yet the list rigidly stays. Is it a legacy thing?
Edit: alot of people are saying these are dude, white dude, action dramas. I recognized this paradigm, and thats a part of the question but these aren’t even the only shows like that, most of the other acclaimed shows are the same sorta structure.
Ok Ive found the answer: TV shows are long as fuck. Most people have not watched that many TV shows a 3-6 season hour long episode series, is a huge commitment, so rather than people watching every show that has acclaim, they just converge on the same few. I personally have only finished like 5-6 adult TV shows.
