I found 2 fake websites, one impersonating the Aurora Store for Android devices, the other one appears to be the old PCSX4 scam with a new name.

Starting with the Aurora Store…

The fake site appears to have built up its reputation by redirecting to the real website after clicking their download button, but after starting and stopping the download myself recently, I can see they’ve now replaced that with their own APK.

Amusingly, Google has delisted the fake from its search results, however Duckduckgo still shows it as the first thing that comes up when you search “Aurora Store”.

As for the PS4 emulator, when you search “PS4 emulator” on either Google or DDG, the first thing that comes up is one called RPCS4. This appears to be the PCSX4 scam under a new name, as the real RPCS4 looks to be inactive. A reddit search shows 2 people that tried to download it 2 months ago, only to be hit with surveys and captchas like the previous scam.

So yeah, I’m not a dev, but this looks like a growing problem lately…
