Some people are apparently unaware of this, but no, neocons were never conservative, it's just a name. The roots of neoconservativism is Marxist-Leninism, *DOES* maintain socialist concepts like "Praxis", and that's why the typical conservative isn't a welfare-loving hawk and the typical neocon is.
