Not sure if this has been talked about but just looking at the previous matchups, this is the first Big 12 Championship game without a team from Texas or Oklahoma represented. In the past either Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma or Oklahoma State had been in the game. With ASU and ISU playing today that streak ends.
