Can you provide any notable examples of major (or at least somewhat important) characters that were genderswapped from female to male (and played by a male actor) in the live-action adaptation of the source material?
The only one that comes to mind is Vanya of Umbrella academy… but Vanya in Season 1 was not gender swapped originally, so I don’t think that counts.
