Hello, I am announcing a new rule on /r/GoldAndBlack based on what we mods find annoying.

The rule is as follows:

#Titles for links to articles must not contain any reference to the race of people involved; whether or not the source article does state their race.

What this means is that if you title your post, "Black Mom Bakes Cookies for Daughters Birthday Party", it'll likely be removed and, if an on-topic post otherwise, ask you to re-submit it as "Mom Bakes Cookies for Daughters Birthday Party".

This is true even if the source article you link to has the "race" of the people involved in the title.

Any clarifications you require, please feel free to ask in the comments of this thread. Any complaints about moderation will likely be removed in this thread, only ask questions if you are don't understand something about this rule.
