As some of you might know the central government of India (federal government) has drafted a policy to make open source software the default choice for all e-governance products under the Digital India program for the central government and given an option for opting in for the state government for the same there is a draft policy document and the government has asked inputs from the wider community, as I understand this would be discussed in the upcoming session of the Indian parliament so just wanted inputs from this community on the same the policy document:
