I implore everyone to tune in to the MAC games tonight. And while i expect Eastern Michigan vs Buffalo to be entertaining, the game with bigger conference stakes is Ohio @ Toledo. Like most conferences, the MAC got rid of divisions this year and currently, the race for the 2 conference championship game berth looks like this:
- Miami - 6-1
- Ohio - 5-1
- Bowling Green - 5-1
- Buffalo - 4-2
- Toledo - 4-2
Miami and Bowling Green will play the final week of the regular season. This means that tonights game is the last major chance for Toledo and Buffalo to have a shot. If Ohio wins, theyll just have to beat Ball State to meet the BGSU-Miami winner in the CCG (barring a BGSU upset by Ball State this Saturday. Ball State could make everything a mess, that would be funny). But if Toledo wins, all the sudden Buffalo, Ohio, Toledo, and the BGSU-Miami loser could all finish with 2 losses.
So, regardless of if you want the Bobcats or chaos, make sure to watch tonight. And join the sickos in the game threads!
