It’s really weird and hypocritical. Like they’ll say rent is theft and immoral but then i will ask them is it ok for me to rent to PlayStation to my cousin? And they’re ok with that. Or rent my car to someone for the weekend they're ok with it. So why is renting one form of property cool but not homes? What is it about the house that triggers these leftists so much? I can rent out my video game but not my basement?
Even the home/property part is fugazi as in most of these people are ok with hotels and motels lol. You went to Jamaica last year, someone owned private property and agreed to rent it to you in exchange for money so you have someplace to stay for a week. Why is that ok? It’s ok to rent a room to people for a week on vacation, but if I rent it for 3 years as someone’s place of living I’m an evil capitalist bastard lol.
I’d respect it more if they were consistent across the board, no one can rent anything to anything. No more rent a car companies no more motels/hotels, remember when people would rent shit blockbuster? None of that. Either you buy/sell something. Imagine if I had to buy a house or have family in DR this year? I wouldn’t have been able to go to my best friends wedding lol.
These people are legit crazy and hiding behind the real reason which is personal jealousy/envy
