I was taking in some MACtion last night and it got me thinking. Akron QB Ben Finley finished the game 19/52 passing. Is this in contention for highest number of incompletions in a game? This was surprisingly hard to google. Closest I could find was Connor Halliday’s 2013 game where he set both the ncaa record for attempts (89) and completions (58) but still had 31 incompletions. Finley surpassed that last night with 33. Lowest completion percentage usually turns up games that don’t have high enough raw totals. Anyone know the answer to this?
