Last week, I went to a work event with one of my friends, and I met one of her coworkers. We chatted for a while and really hit it off and kissed at the end of the evening. We’ve been texting a made plans to hang out tomorrow (Tuesday).
Last night I found his Twitter, and he’s liked some misogynistic tweets. I don’t want to go on the date anymore but I don’t know what to say or how to bow out without getting called a bitch. It seems too insane to tell him I found his Twitter. What should I say?
(Also, do you guys ever feel sad about misogyny? I was excited about having a crush, but now I just feel demoralized and sad about the bleakness of patriarchy. And sometimes I worry if the shared experience of womanhood is just tales of sadness forever and ever. Would love if someone had some perspective or wisdoms for me.)
