HEELLO again all CFB lovers, I honestly completely forgot about last week so here I am this week ranking this week’s games by intrigue! After a sad week for A&M athletics as a whole, I can finally not be anxious during a bye week and can relax to watch some good games this weekend, as both a neutral and a hater. Here are this week’s games from least interesting to most:

#31. Nevada @ #12 Boise State

wait. Nevada has a football team? In all seriousness, Nevada is 3-7 overall and 0-4 in conference play. Ashton Jeanty should have no problem with this one.

#30. UConn @ UAB

Something special is brewing over there in Connecticut. The Huskies are 6-3 overall and are playing good football. Basketball season just started and they’re going to be great to watch over there as well. Luckily for them, UAB is some cheeks in football. Should be a steal for the Huskies.

#29. Navy @ South Florida

How on Earth do you lose to RICE? Rice University. 2-6 Rice. Just how?

#28. Purdue @ #3 Ohio State

Sorry guys, no Spoilermakers this year.

#27. California @ Wake Forest

Well, it looks like California may be onto something here. They are coming off a win, and so is Wake. Could be an interesting game here between two programs that have some sort of momentum.

#26. Rice @ Memphis

New Rice Overlords clearly hates America.

#25. Duke @ NC State

Duke is coming off a valiant effort against Miami last week. The Blue Devils played a very admirable game and now will be travelling to NC State, who is coming off of a complete bashing of Stanford. If that NC State team shows up, it could get interesting. Otherwise, take Duke on the points here.

#24. Liberty @ Middle Tennessee

WE ARE ALL MIDDLE TENNESSEE FANS THIS WEEK!!

#23. Utah State @ #20 Washington State

The Cougars are one of the sneakiest teams in CFB, and I’m glad they are finally getting the recognition they deserve. Sitting at an impressive 7-1 with their lone loss to a Top 15 ranked Boise State team, they are a team that is constantly improving and playing good football. This team is really fun to watch. On one hand, they can completely destroy, like they did to Hawaii. One the other hand, they can play a very competitive nailbiter like with SJSU. The Utah State Aggies are really struggling this year. Take Wazzu in this one comfortably.

#22. #17 Iowa State @ Kansas

Need to bounce back here. After losing to Texas Tech, it is going to be difficult for Iowa State to remain in the conversation for the CFP. They pretty much cannot afford another loss, so they really need a win against 2-6 Kansas.

#21. Arkansas State @ Louisiana

4-0 conference 7-1 overall Louisiana will be playing the #2 team in the SBC West, Arkansas State in what will probably be a very fun and competitive matchup. AR State is looking to secure a spot in that SBC Championship game, while Louisiana is looking to avoid an upset and remain the overall conference leader.

#20. Minnesota @ Rutgers

Don’t look now, but Minnesota has been playing better football every week. Ever since that weird loss to Michigan, the Golden Gophers has won four games straight, including knocking off ranked Illinois last week. A strong showing from Darius Taylor really helped them in this game, and could also be a big weapon against the Scarlet Knights. On the other side, how do you lose to UCLA?

#19. West Virginia @ Cincinnati

West Virginia, fresh off a bye week, will be travelling to play Cincinnati, who also came off a bye week from a loss by ranked Colorado. Both teams will be looking to improve their football resume, and I think these two teams matchup very well, and it could get really interesting.

#18. UCF @ Arizona State

UCF annihilated Arizona last week. Now, they are hoping to do the same to their in-state rival, Arizona State. Unfortunately for them, this task is going to be much more monumental. Arizona State is playing way better football than Arizona, and it’ll be interesting to see if UCF can knock them off or if the Sun Devils continue to play good ball.

#17. #9 BYU @ Utah

I was gonna clown on Utah for losing to Houston in football, but they went and beat a ranked Kansas State team last week, so now I’m just dumbfounded. BYU has one of the best resumes in CFB, and currently sits at #4 in all pre-CFP projections as the B1G12 conference winner. Will be pretty difficult to knock them down.

#16. #18 Army @ North Texas

Could be a fun one here. North Texas, even though has suffered a few losses in a row, is still not a bad football program. Army could be facing a potential competitive game without Bryson Daily. There is a chance that he comes back for this game, as they will be needing him for not only this game, but for all of their future games as well, especially against Notre Dame.

#15. Iowa @ UCLA

Hanging 42 on Wisconsin is diabolical. Iowa with an offense is still one of the funniest things to happen this year in CFB and will continue to be.

#14. Syracuse @ Boston College

After a very fun and close loss to Virginia Tech last week, the Orange football team is looking to bounce back against Boston College. Fresh off of a bye week, the Eagles will be looking to hand Syracuse another conference loss. Should be an interesting game regardless of the outcome on this one.

#13. Mississippi State @ #7 Tennessee

State is quite the interesting team in 2024. They played very competitively against Georgia, Texas, and Texas A&M, but got absolutely clobbered by Arkansas, who got manhandled by the same margin against Ole Miss. Van Buren is doing his best as a true freshman, and they are going to play in a very tough environment this week against Tennessee, who beat Kentucky soundly. This game could either be competitive or a blowout, and not in between,

#12. Maryland @ #1 Oregon

Oregon continues to dominates their opponents, and they look damn good doing so. This week, they host Maryland, who, before their bye week, got decimated by Minnesota. Maryland is really going to need their defense to step up. Although star WR Tez Johnson may not play this week, Oregon’s WR room is still very stacked, and without playing good defense, this game may end in another blowout.

#11. Oklahoma @ Missouri

GIVE IT UP FOR SICKO GAME OF THE WEEK. NO-FORWARD-PASS OKLAHOMA VS DREW “TURNOVER” PYNE MISSOURI IS GOING TO BE HEAT!!!

#10. Florida State @ #10 Notre Dame

pianofingerbanger been real quiet this season. I wonder why that is.

#9. Washington @ #6 Penn State

Although this isn’t the same Washington team as last year, I still think this team is better than what their record may indicate. This could end up being a very competitive game. Penn State, after suffering another big-game loss to Ohio State, really needs to win this one to remain in the conversation for playoffs. I’m not really sure what to make of Penn State at this time. They win their games, but they miss on the games that really matter. Will James Franklin eventually be able to win against a top ranked opponent? Stay tuned…not this week…but later on…

#8. Florida @ #5 Texas

R.I.P Graham Mertz…2023-2024

R.I.P DJ Lagway…2024-2024

Florida is now on their like 10th string QB or something. They played Georgia extremely competitively until Lagway went down, and you can argue that if he remained in the game, they very well may have beaten the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, without Lagway or Mertz, beating Texas even in the swamp seems to be even more of an outreach. Who knows though, we’ve all seen crazier things this season.

#7. Virginia @ #23 Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh got brutally mutilated by ranked SMU last week. They are still possibly in the playoff conversations, especially if they beat Clemson later this season, but those hopes look gloomy as of now. They’ll need to put this loss aside and prepare for Virginia, who could give them a challenge this week. Expect a good game from these two teams.

#6. #4 Miami @ Georgia Tech

Cam Ward continues to take this Miami football to the next level. The Canes offense is averaging 46.4 points a game, higher than any other team in CFB, allowing them to remain undefeated and in a prime spot for the CFP projections releasing later today. Their defense has not been very good, however. This week, they will travel to face Georgia Tech, who, in their previous game, got stifled by Virginia Tech. Should Miami continue to put up wild numbers, the Heisman talk for Ward will get louder. Could be very interesting.

#5. South Carolina @ #24 Vanderbilt

South Carolina shattered all Aggies’ hopes and dreams last week, murdering them by double digits. This team is absolutely dangerous, and is just a couple of points and ref calls from being 7-1 and a legit title contender. This week, they travel to a ranked Vanderbilt team that just came off of a win against Auburn. These two teams have been very impressive in the SEC the entire season, and it will be awesome to watch a battle between Diego Pavia and Raheim Sanders.

#4. Michigan @ #8 Indiana

Indiana is one of the best teams in CFB, there is absolutely no doubt. Not only are they one of the most consistent teams in the league, but they are absolutely murdering their opponents. Their games have not been competitiv…
