October has given way to November, the conference races and CFP picture are both taking shape, and we’ve set the clocks back to usher in the early dark… ah but it’s always daylight out on The CFBBall Field! (I wonder how they manage that…), so let’s see what’s happening this week!

Oregon holds onto the top spot after a big win over the defending Champs in Ann Arbor, and they look poised to claim the top spot in tonight’s initial CFP rankings (just a quick note, Ducks, don’t look at the success rate for teams who top the initial rankings!)

Penn State is in a familiar mood after once again coming up short against the Buckeyes, dropping Coach Franklin to 1-10 against Ohio State… and it sure was nice of 'em to remind Lion of that fact…

Halloween may be over, but both ISU and Texas A&M, or should I say Egg & M, are dressed up against their will, following upset losses this past weekend…

And, just as we all expected, Vanderbilt is ranked… no this is not a joke, no this is not a baseball poll, and yes they are throwing shade at Bama and Auburn after they completed their sweep of the state this past weekend to secure not only a place in the rankings, but bowl eligibility as well!

Y’all know the drill, you see me say it every week, but there’s no other place on the internet where talking circles are devoted to the best damn sport there is, so be sure to swing on by r/CFBBall and check out what’s going on and maybe even whip up a comic or two of your own!
