Obviously the legal requirement to exchange insurance information would not exist in a Minarchist Society, as car Insurance wouldn’t be mandatory, but what about Hit and Runs? Would they be illegal? On one hand, unless someone was hurt, and it’s just a car accident, one could argue they didn’t violate the NAP. But I think it constitutes property damage, and that in my book is a violation of the NAP, which a Minarchist Society would make illegal. Or would they be legally allowed to flee as long as they pay for damages? What are some Minarchist/Libertarian perspectives on this?
