This season could easily be one of the most historic statistical seasons from Lamar.

Right now he is at 262.4 passing ypg and 62.6 rushing ypg. Over a 17 game season, this gets out to 4461 passing yards and 1,064 rushing yards.

Even in a 16 game season, he’s still on pace to achieve this feat.

Although no one has ever done this before, there has been some close calls. Josh Allen had 4407/763 in 2021 and 4283/762 in 2022. The 1,000 rushing yards is the hardest part, as only 3 QBs have ever crossed that mark: Michael Vick, Lamar, and Justin Fields. Lamar was the only one to have over 3,000 yds passing in those seasons, and the only one to rush for 1,000 yds twice.

On a similar subject, Lamar Jackson is currently second all time for rushing yards by a QB at 5759 yds, second only to Michael Vick, at 6109 yds.

Needing 351 more yards to get the record, Lamar is on pace to get the record on week 13 against the Eagles.

It took 143 games for Vick to get to that number. Lamar is poised to pass him before even playing his 100th game.
