One thing I’ve observed by interacting with people on the left is Other than politicians who support their side “Bro Bernie isn’t REALLY rich bro” it seems entertainers are the only people the left supports and or cheers having lots of money. Why do you think this is?

Like they’re totally ok and support comedians, singers rappers athletes, making millions, but let’s say you got rich of investments, you’re an evil greedy capitalist parasite. It should be noted that these rich entertainers also invest, my guy Jay Z didn’t reach where he’s at just by rapping but most of these people don’t think that far

I think it comes down to the same reason they hate landlords. There’s this idea of making money without using your own physical labor is evil because you’re stealing from someone else. We know this is dumb but that’s how they think. Bringing it back to entertainment Anyone who has posted or read a sports sub on here sees the contempt they have for the guys who own these teams. “The owners don’t do anything bro, they just sit back and collect profits”. Even fans who aren’t actually socialists have sort of a socialist mindset in how they view the game. It’s the “workers” versus the “owners”. The funny thing is the players don’t think like them. Tom Brady doesn’t want to seize the means of production from the glazer family lol. He understands it’s their team and they’re paying him to work for them.

On a side note Income inequality between athletes of the same league for some reason isn’t a big deal for them. Like Lebron makes way more than the 15th man on the lakers. Brady makes more than Tampa’s 3rd string QB, why is that “ok”? Because they’re both rich? But they crying about the owners pockets lol. But but CEO’s
