Maybe I’m getting too wrapped up in the Utah Twitter fan base (which is the worst part of every fan base), but what exactly has Utah done that’s so impressive that people think the Big 12 suddenly runs through SLC? Sure they’ve won a bunch of G5 conference championships and a couple of PAC 12 championships, but the only team that ever dominated the Big 12 was Oklahoma and, to put it bluntly, Utah isn’t OU. I think they’re a good team and they can absolutely compete for conference champion spots, but there’s nothing I’ve seen that makes me think they’ll just come in and dominate. So what am I missing here?
