For reference, I’m 22 and have no family history of breast cancer. I haven’t really been in the habit of checking my breasts, so my boyfriend was the one who noticed it first. The doctor said he felt it on my left breast about 2 cm big. I have to wait until Monday to schedule an appointment with radiology to get an ultrasound, and it’s currently Saturday so just a waiting game. I’m trying to think positive thoughts and keep myself composed but my brain tends to fixate on the worst possible outcome with these kinds of things. Any advice on how to cope while I wait for results or reassurance would be so appreciated, I’m scared shitless.
