For those of you not familiar with what is going on in Texas, it has been a rough week for anyone you ask. No power, water, or gas (and in a lot of cases, all 3) for most residents you hear from.

One constant that has remained is everyone's positive remarks towards businesses in our community (besides ERCOT granted). Im not going to provide any links, bit if you swing by r/Austin you can expect to see dozens of posts praising places like our local grocery store, HEB, and comments saying we should elect HEB as the new governor. I know this sentiment is going to wash away as quick as the melted snow, but it has been really great reading through comments from our liberal city and our conservative state joining hands and agreeing that businesses were more motivated and much more prepared to handle the needs of the people when everything isn't so cozy.

I'll always have this week's events as a solid example of what we are trying to get across. Remember that blizzard? Where was Ted Cruz? Where was HEB?
