If anything, I’d suggest the opposite is true. Women have dedicated routines to hair, makeup, nails, their houses, their cars, and even their jobs. Women (from my experience) tend to be more organized and tidy.
I wouldn’t mind this saying as much if it wasn’t used to imply that women don’t care about mens attractiveness when we truly do. Women are just more likely to lower their standards for looks because we’ll be shamed as being “shallow”. Even though men are much more shallow when it comes to appearance.
What woman doesn’t want a man that’s well groomed and dressed nice?
