I’ve been dating around recently and I met two separate guys (not at the same time) who I went on s few dates with. After only a few dates, I discovered they had very different beliefs than I did, their core values and beliefs didn’t align with mine so I said sorry, I don’t think we should continue dating because we don’t share the same belief system. I was met with the same arguments, they said we don’t have to have the same views to date and that I was strange for stopping things because of it. I was weirded out because why would they want to date a girl who didn’t share their beliefs and values? Why wouldn’t they want someone like-minded? Our views couldn’t be more different so I don’t know how the heck we’d get along.
