I think it's pretty obvious to anyone who looks at the US and the world objectively that there's a fundamental misunderstanding about the nature of human rights. My beliefs border ancap, but it's pretty clear that communism isn't entirely flawed. In fact it's fairly sound ideologically, but it falls short because of it's core assumption about the world. One single foundational thought: rights are given to people by the government, or more accurately rights don't exist.

Unfortunately this idea has been taught in our schools, in our colleges, perpetuated by news media, and of course by our very own illustrious overlords to the point that even most republicans believe it. I only see three true human rights. Life, liberty, and property. All morality, ethics, and laws can be derived from these. They exist outside of the existence of a state, and thus cannot be justly removed or infringed on by the state.
