I wanted to ask whether The Franchise TV show was being broadcast in 4K/UHD, as it’s on HBO I suspect it probably is and would rather wait for 4K broadcast before watching it.
So, I did a quick Reddit search for The Franchise which led me here…
Could anyone explain to me why a TV show would have it’s subreddit setup as a private club?
Surely the whole point of a subreddit is to encourage people to come and red about the show and possibly contribute, yes I fully realise there will be trolls, but that’s the nature of any bulletin board systems over the last 30 odd years…
Is the trolling on Reddit now got so bad that what would naturally need to be open/public subreddits to actually perform the task they’re intended for can barely function or am I just an out of touch dinosaur to the reality of online nonsense these days?
p.s.
I’m not on Social Media as I just find it a vitriolic mess, I see Reddit as a bulletin board rather than Social Media.
