Iowa State is dealing with an insane run of injuries at LB, * indicating preseason starter:

*Willich: out for season

*McLaughlin: out until at least November

*Bacon: out for season

Sadowksy: unknown timeline, may medical redshirt

Klosterman: out for season

Brezina: unknown timeline, came out of the game on Sat

Snyder: Limited, seems to be on a snap count.

All these injuries at one position are liable to catch up with us at some point, but young backups have done admirably, holding down the fort, but playing a 5th string walk-on significant minutes at middle linebacker does not seem like a recipe for succes, but it was enough to beat Baylor. Facing a really good run game and mobile QB in WVU makes me nervous. but, our DC has proven to be a wizard before.

I can’t remember hearing about this many injuries clustered at one position. anyone else have any similar stories from their teams?
