Nathanial Hackett of course having been unceremoniously fired by the Broncos the season prior for being, among other things, the worst head coach in their history. In the minutes following Salah’s termination, Hackett was passed over for the interim head coach title of the Jets. The Broncos beat the Jets 10-9 week 4 of the 2024 season. Life is not without its little ironies.
