Yesterday I walked across some fresh cut grass and watched the dragon flies skim above the blades, and then it hit me: the smell of football camp. Took me right back to those days of two-a days, early mornings walking through the wet grass and your cleats getting wet and heavy from the morning dew.
Drove by the high school and saw the boys going out to practice.
Next Wednesday we will drop son #2 off at his college as he reports for pre-season camp.
It’s here! All the signs pointing to the best season of the year, football season!
