My boyfriend and I have been together for a few years now and to this day we disagree on farting etiquette. He feels that I should always go to the toilet and fart, but I think this is an unreasonable request. I always felt that it was normal to fart in the privacy of your own home. It’s not like I do so in front of company, or in public, or in front of his family etc, but if we’re at home and I need to rip one I just let it go. He hates this and insist that I go to the toilet and do that. Am I the asshole?
