I like the general philosophy of Ancap but there are two things that deeply bother me and I would like to hear how these would be handled in Ancapistan.

  1. Patents; what will keep others from stealing my inventions/business models?
  2. Private security; if we abolish state security/PO-lice and instate a privately ran pay for protection system, what will keep these private security companies from using paid mercantilism to boost sales. (Private security corps paying hoodlums to drive up home crime rates to boost sales) Don’t get me wrong, I do not believe the state should have this power either but I genuinely do not know how to handle ‘protection/security’ without motivating the security companies from hiring criminals to increase crime and therefore increase profits.

I think our community is gaining serious momentum after our governments overstepping of power regarding the undeniably biased lockdowns of small businesses this past year, but if we want our beliefs to be a serious option for moderates moving forward we have to address the flaws within our system. Looking for open discussion here, statists/bots/trolls (not much of a difference) can fuck off.
