We all complain when bad calls hurt our team, sometimes being the difference between a win or a loss with a championship on the line. But statistically speaking, a similar number of calls help our favorite team. So what bad call helped your team the most?

I’ll go first: For Ohio State, in our 2OT win against Penn State in 2014 we had some bad officiating go our way a couple of times. The most egregious was a Vonn Bell “interception” that clearly touched the ground, but was upheld as an interception. It was early in the game, but Ohio State did score a TD afterward. In a game that tight it’s not crazy to say we might not have won, meaning we don’t even sniff the playoff or a championship.

The play:

Our season was saved by faulty replay equipment, lmao.

ETA: Videos appreciated, since the rest of us may not remember the play/ever saw it in the first place.
