  Dozens of US troops have been deployed to Cyprus amid sharply escalating tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, and they are preparing for a range of contingencies including a possible evacuation operation from Lebanon for US citizens should a full-blown war erupt, four US officials told CNN.

    This is so stupid. Israel specifically said they didn’t want our troops over there, and we immediately sent troops to their border and started fighting with Hezbollah. That inflamed this whole situation and is why we are where we are rn.

      Not really sure what you mean about your comments about Israel and the US escalating tensions with Hezbollah.

      That being said, the CNN article you did share says the US and the UK are preparing to evacuate their citizens in Lebanon – like was done in 2006. I’m sure other nations that have citizens in Lebanon are coordinating similar efforts.
