Ladies. This is still happening. Women are still being fired for reporting sexual harassment.
My sister and her friend both work for Tesla up in the Bay Area. Her friend manages a team of people. One of her subordinates was harassing her. Comments like “you’d look hot if you took a picture in this lighting”. Pesky uncomfortable comments like that.
So she asks to have him removed from her team and reports said harassment. What does Tesla do? They go through all her company communication and find texts of her saying negative things about the company. So she’s fired!
