Folks, when it looked like conference realignment was MOSTLY calming down, we suddenly might be in another period of major shakeup. However, despite needing eight teams to function as a league, the Mountain West may not necessarily be doomed if the Pac-12 snatches a couple more of their teams. What is their best option to stabilize and replace some of these programs? Should they try to grab New Mexico State and UTEP away from Conference USA? Go after several solid FCS programs in the Rocky Mountain/Western US region?
