Everybody knows about the 70s steel curtain dynasty. That team won 4 Super Bowls in 6 years.

The Steelers won the 2005 and 2008 Super Bowl. They were down 6 points with possession of the ball and 2 minutes left on the clock in the 2010 Super Bowl. They turned it over on downs.

That would have been 3 Super Bowls in 6 years. Which is enough for a dynasty in most people’s estimation.

Sort of a relatively forgotten “almost dynasty”. And it happened squarely in the middle of the Brady/Belichick run. And even in their own conference.
