I stopped watching Supergirl after season 2, however the show does naturally play a part in the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover. They have the character of Martian Manhunter appear in the final fight, but it’s literally just his actor wearing his costume, instead of appearing as an alien. Based on the clips I’ve seen I think they do this in later episodes of the show.
He even says something along the lines of “it’s easier for me to stay in this form”. Um, no dude, they clearly ran out of CGI budget and didn’t wanna have to CGI your character’s head on for the next 20 minutes
Does anyone have any other examples of this?
