I do think men genuinely hate things that women typically like. Singers like- taylor swift, Ariana Grande, BTS gets a lot of hate. I remember when one direction was at the peak, it got hate as well. Recently, Barbie movie came out. It was specifically targeted towards women who played with barbie dolls. Yet it was the men who had the loudest voice to reject it and calling it awful names. They are literally making up statements that doesn’t even go with the movie at all. I saw some reviews on IMDb. Men are literally giving it 1 stars just out of spite. So, I asked few of them to describe where is this “indoctrination” and “Anti-men” thing they saw. Most of them replied, they never saw it but online reviews say that it was bad. Also those who say Patriarchy was good because kens were ok with it and even barbies were happy with Kendom. Like even if they like the movie, they will the bad parts of it and twist it. And it is not just with movies but other tv shows too where it has more female audiences. Like do men hate women so much that their hatred goes into things women like. Like their hatred literally comes from the fact that women enjoy something.
