Full disclosure, I do have a bias towards NIU. However, after watching him play over the past four years, I am glad to see he is starting to get the recognition that he deserves.

I’m not saying he is the best back in the country, but I still think he deserves more recognition and discussion.

He has been remarkably consistent throughout his entire collegiate career. I’m sure some would argue that their strength of schedule is weak resulting in him facing poor defenses.

However, against Notre Dame he rushed for around 100 yards averaging 5 yards per carry and showed how he can be a receiving threat as well with 126 yards. I’m curious what he can do against NC State.

431 career carries with only two fumbles and averaging over 6 yards per carry.

I also have mad respect for the guy staying with his program for all 4 years. According to Coach Hammock, he was offered large deals to transfer to a different school, but he decided to stay for his Senior year.
