Both are improv shows where the cast is given prompts to act out.

But Who’s Line was always saddled with ridiculous prompts that got more and more ridiculous as they went on. Not only were they dump “a farmer who thinks people’s body parts are eggs he wants to hatch” they were also often very specific and prevented improv - they were just acting “acting out Rocky in 30 seconds”.

Whereas Make Some Noise prompts are much more open ended and while they have a twist they are less bizarre. “A blind date where both people are actually two kids in a trench coat” or “a concession speech hastily re-written as a victory speech”.

You can see some episodes of Make Some Noise on youtube for free. If you like improv they are well worth checking out.
