Week 2 Power Rankings:

A good amount of movement in the middle of the rankings this week. Maryland became the first team to officially be #18 in the B1G after their loss to Michigan State, and their reward was to tumble 6(!) spots this week. Iowa also dropped 3 spots, while Sparty and the Gophers jumped 3 each. Illinois jumped 4 spots for beating ranked Kansas, which just feels wrong to type, and Nebraska jumped up to the Top 5 for beating Colorado, a team that hasn’t had a winning season in 8 years.

Next week gives us another conference matchup, this time between UCLA and Indiana. A couple rivalry games as well, as Purdue takes on Notre Dame while our new northwestern brethren take on their in-state rivals in the Apple Cup and Civil War (yes I’m still calling it that, you can’t stop me).

Don’t forget to head on over to /r/TheB1G each week to vote from Sunday - Wednesday!
